Dahlia at Dunsmuir Community Garden

Dunsmuir Community Garden is a lovely place in Crescent Beach, Surrey, British Columbia. It is made up of garden plots where individuals and families plant and tend to their flowers and vegetables. I took this photo of a dahlia during an evening summer walk around the gardens close to my home. The intense colours of the dahlia caught my eye. I see that a lot of care went in to nurturing this flower.
